My background is in corporate marketing (computer software) but after both my parents became very ill I realised that it would be impossible for me to go back to the corporate world and all the travel I was doing. I fell into stamping quite by accident around 13 years ago and since then I have been making cards almost daily and enjoy reading and collecting a wide selection of stamping magazines and books to increase my knowledge.
Ten years ago I also got dragged into scrapbooking kicking and screaming and now I must say I do enjoy it. I also ventured into collage work which includes canvas, ATCs, altered books and other altered items.
I am an Independent Demonstrator for Stampin’ Up! and thoroughly enjoy sharing with others the joy of stamping. I have been published numerous times in various Australian and American magazines.
What else do I do? Well I can play the piano (note I say ‘can’ as I’ve been totally slack and not touched it in ages), fine crochet, cross-stitch and other stuff. Unfortunately all that has taken a back seat to papercrafts/arts.
If you’re a mad papercrafter like I am or if you’re interested in learning more, please feel free to e-mail me on email@example.com.
