Hi my name is Angela and welcome to my blog.
I hope that you can find some inspiration here on my blog for your papercrafting while I share with you my creations using Stampin’ Up! products.
Often people will ask me how I ended up playing with paper all day as my job. The past is a long story but the short of it is that I after both my parents became very ill and I had children, I realised that it would be impossible for me to go back to the corporate world and all the travel I was doing. I fell into cardmaking quite by accident around 15 years ago and since then I have been making cards almost daily and enjoy all that is involved in the wide world of paper and ink.
About twelve years ago I also got dragged into scrapbooking kicking and screaming and now I must say I do enjoy it. I also ventured into collage work which includes canvas, ATCs, altered books and other altered items. Although these days I find I spend more time making cards as love that instant gratification and then being able to send that card out to someone who will enjoy it.
Nearly 9 years ago I found out that Stampin’ Up! were opening in Australia and I thought it would be great to join them so that I could teach some papercraft classes from home. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made! And there I was debating whether I should or not! Every day I’m so thankful I said “what the heck, why not?”. Stampin’ Up! opened a whole other world for me in papercrafts and now I enjoy sharing my love of paper and ink with others while working from home.
What else do I do? Well I can play the piano (note I say ‘can’ as I’ve been totally slack and not touched it in ages), fine crochet, cross-stitch, dabbled in the guitar and violin and other stuff. But once I start mucking around with paper in my craft room, hours go by and everything else gets forgotten.
Thanks for visiting my blog, I hope you stick around for a bit and enjoy some inspiration.
