In case you missed it (and are interested!), I have been published in the latest issue of Stamping & Papercraft Magazine. Here’s a peek at my cards:

I love the way Stamping & Papercraft have photographed my cards . These cards feature the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called “Artifacts” along with the Collage Alphabet stamp set and the Print Background stamp and ‘Size It Up’ wheel. The technique I’ve used for the cards is called Burnt Batik. If you’d like the full instructions on making these cards then they are in the latest issue – Volume 13, No. 3 and are on pages 12 to 15.

Here’s my latest piece of work that’s been published in the current issue of Australian Paper Crafts magazine which also happens to be the big ‘Annual’ issue.

I was asked to take part in their “Artist and The Stamp” challenge, which basically means that they send me a free stamp (in this case a Paper Artsy stamp sheet) and I had to make something of it. I decided to make a canvas as I really love canvas work – I just find it so liberating and fun. In this challenge three other people were also asked to participate and I found it so amusing that two of the three also happen to be on my Stampin’ Up! Team (Alisa Tilsner and Linda Baldock). Actually the whole magazine seems filled with people I know: Sephi Kemp, Gillian Hamilton, Yvonne Campbell, Sandie Downey and Gabbie Coburn – all very talented stampers.

By the way, the big ‘flourish’ chipboard at the top is by Buzz and Bloom.  It looks like it’s slipped a bit in the photo, in real life it’s straight though – not sure what the stylists were doing with it! It’s also a bit difficult to tell by the photo but that flourish was ‘painted’ with a Gold Krylon pen.

Yeah yeah, I know… I’m like weeks late. Sigh. I’ve been tearing my hair out so long trying to figure out why my photos/scans won’t come up on my blog properly that my head is now pounding. So, finally I realised that my internet browser, Safari, was the problem – I’ve changed to Firefox and things are looking up. Aaaanyway, I figure better late than never. Okay, so here’s a scan of my Easter cards that were published in “i can make it myself” magazine (yes, all lower case). They were made using the retired Stampin’ Up! set called “Spring Fling”. Well, the stamps weren’t retired at time of publication but soon after. If anyone is keen on buying this stamp set, I have my one available… used once only (well once to make three cards anyway) you are welcome to e-mail me on angelasargeant@gmail.com to purchase. The other Stampin’ Up! stamps used for these cards are “Tidy Alphabet” – for the words Easter (not retired and certainly available for purchase) and also “Alphabits” which was used for the little word “Easter” on the tag.

Cool huh?  Okay, my photo isn’t that great but in real life it’s really nice.  I also have that card plus another card and a gift box featured inside the magazine along with the instructions on how to make them all.  Oh, and the cards and gift box were all made using Stampin’ Up! products.
