Mixed Bunch Thank You Card

One of my favourite things in cardmaking is to make my card really touchy-feely.  I love cards that make me want to run my fingertips over them to feel the different textures.  And while this is a very simple card, it packs in some texture, not only in the lace ribbon and textured cardstock but also the floral patterned paper.  That elegant pattern in black is flocked and so lovely to touch.

Here’s a close up so you can see the texture of the cardstock and the flower with the gorgeous brad.  I’ve added a little rhinestone to the centre of the brad but it looks beautiful on it’s own too.

The flower in the main image was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink and the punched out with a matching punch (gotta love that!).  I also punched out two more flowers in Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso and layered them under the flower then fastened them to the card with a brad.

Thank you for dropping by, I appreciate everyone who visits my blog. :D
