Stampin’ Up! Summer Mini Catalogue

Sigh… I have such a weakness for patterned paper that looks like wallpaper.  I just love the simplicity and elegance of it.

So if you’re wondering what I’ve been up to today – not much, LOL, I’ve just been playing with my new Stampin’ Up! Summer Mini products.  Here’s a card I just finished this minute.  What I love about this flower stamp is the endless ideas that popped into my head as soon as I saw it.  The biggest problem was what to try first… watercolouring with crayons, paper tole, stamp multiple flowers, one flower?  What I settled on is to stamp the flower three times onto patterned paper using Versamark, gold emboss and cut them out.  I then layered the three flowers on top of each othr so that it looks a bit three dimentional.  A very simple card but I’m very pleased with it.

So here’s a list of products I’ve used: (all products available for purchase through me at angelasargeant@gmail.com)

Embrace Life stamp set
Chocolate Chip textured cardstock
Blue Bayou cardstock
Soft Sky cardstock
Afternoon Tea Designer Series Paper
Versamark inkpad
Gold embossing power
Heat Gun
Chocolate Chip, Blue Bayou and Soft Sky inkpads (to sponge around cardstock)
Sponge Daubers (for sponging ink)
‘Crystal’ beads (from the Pretties Kit) for the centre of the flower
Glue Dots (to adhere the ‘crystal’ bead
Stampin’ Dimensionals (to lift the centre Chocolate Chip card and the centre Blue Bayou card)
SNAIL Adhesive to adhere everything else

Hope you like this card.  If you haven’t seen these products before then it probably means you don’t have a Summer Mini catalogue, please feel free to email me to receive this beautiful publication.

  5. What a pretty card. Hugs

  6. This is a great idea of embossing the Embrace Life stamp – will just have to try it myself now. I am a great fan of any of the baroque and brocade swirly “wall paper” patterns, perhaps not such a fan of stripes though.

  7. Looks Lovely, Love the embossing.

  8. Wow, what a gorgeous card! I love the one large flower in many layers, it looks great!
