Catalogue CASEing Challenge

Last week I did a Catalogue CASEing challenge (same as one of my downlines Alisa did) and now I can’t wait to do more.

The challenge was to copy a card from the Stampin’ Up! Catalogue exactly – then make another card using the same layout only using different stamps and different colours.

Here’s the card that I copied from page 78 of the 2006-2007 Stampin’ Up! Idea Book & Catalogue:

The cool thing about this challenge is that you never run out of ideas.  You can achieve so many different looks just by using the same sketch by changing which rubber stamps and embellishments you use along with different coloured inkpads and cardstock.  This is where the real value is in the Idea Book & Catalogue, it’s not just a catalogue of stamps and embellishments to buy but an idea book filled with so much inspiration.
