Phew! Nearly didn’t make it in to blog today. Anyway, just a quick one… here’s a competition to squeeze in between all my cardmaking.
To enter this competition, simply ask me a question about a Stampin’ Up! product. Post your question in the comments section of this post and I’ll pick a name randomly in about a week to win a prize. Prize for this competition is a pack of Stampin’ Up!’s Ribbon Originals – the pack of ribbon is now retired but retailed at $23.95. I’ll also be answering the questions I receive so if there’s something you wanted to know now’s the time to ask.
Entry is open to Australian residents only and cannot be a current Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.
So what are you waiting for? Ask me a question about a Stampin’ Up! product to win a pack of gorgeous designer ribbon.

Angela, just wanted to say l am enjoying your card a day very much
And my question is…
Please can you explain how to use Heat and Stick powder!? I have a tin here, and l’ll be blowed if l can remember when and where you are supposed to use it. I’ve had it explained a few times but always forget. l would love an explanation in very clear english, preferably with small words
Pics would be even better LOL
Hi Angela,
I too am enjoying such regular posts from you and your lovely creations. I have a question about the designer brads – I am presuming that they are shown actual size, so I was wondering how heavy the larger size brads are and if they are too heavy for some projects. The filigree one looks lighter, but the others look like they might be too heavy as a simple embellishment. What a great prize!
Regards,
Robyn.
Hi Angela
what is the best way to attach ribbons to cards? would you suggest sticky strip or the Snail adhesive or something else? Mum and I have tried another brand roller adhesive but it doesn’t last and comes off after a while.
Rachael
HI Angela,
My question is about a Stampin’ Up! product that I wish existed . . . hope you can answer – are SU! ever going to produce In Color ink spots rather than only in regular pad sizes??
Cheers, Kath
Hi Angela,
As I am relatively new to Stampin Up, I was wondering how to use the ‘Cutter Kit’ and what to use it on.
Thanks heaps for your wonderful website,
Jules x
hi Angela I would like to know if SU’s white ink holds it’s colour on bold card. I have stamped the brand I have on red card and it sort of just ends up looking pink. This could be the card or the ink. If the wisper white does hold it’s colour I may have to get some. Now for part two of my question- Do I have to use staz on to stamp onto ribbon or will the regular SU inks do that? Thanks for the competion and great blog. Donna
Hi Angela
How does the Spritzer tool work? Can it be used with markers other than SU? (I know that’s 2 questions but I hope you won’t be too technical about that!)
Thanks
Michelle
Hi Angela,
love visiting your site, you have soem top ideas, tips and gorgeous cards for us all to ‘case’. Love that big head birdie one BTW!
My product question relates to the sponge daubers. I have seen them used with the pastels but wondered if there was more than one way to utilize them and make them a product worth purchasing?
Hi Angela
I have a question about sponges. I’ve seen some cards which have sponging around the edges. It looks fantastic! What do you use, is it “Stamping Sponges” or “Sponge daubers”. And how do you do this while making it blend properly. I tried once with the daubers and it looked so obvious.
Thanks
Evening Angela….being a TOTAL watercolour novice, can you please explain the difference between the aqua brushes and the blender pens? Thanks for all the Fab stuff u share and I look forward to much more.
Hi Angela,
I picked up my copy of Twilight today, so will be watching straight after my question to you.
How do you use the brayer? I know it’s something to do with ink. From cards that I have seen that have used the brayer, the ink looks like its graduated in colour, if that makes sense. So, how does that happen?
Cheers
Donna Zammit
HI Angela,
in the past I haven’t seen much use for the pastels but just recently I have seen some really lovely cards, done with versamark and the pastels. Which does make me reconsider. But I would like to know how else can you use the pastels?
Kim
Hi Angela
Ok, here’s my question. Do I have to use the watercolour paper when using the aqua brush or can I use just normal cardstock. Is there much of a difference depending what one uses?
Thanks
Natasha
Hi Angela
I love visiting your blog. I have always wanted to ask someone what is the cutter kit and what do you use it for?
Hi Angela,
I have a question about the inkpads and the stampin’ scrub. 1/ Inkpads : how long can they stay opened before they start drying out? I usually close them up all the time, but at a workshop they need to be open for a while for everyone to have their turn at stamping. 2/ Stampin’ Scrub : does it have to be washed after every use, and can it be put away still damp with Stampin’ Mist?
Hope 2 questions is okay
