Twilight Saga Inspired

I was in fits of laughter making this card, I had so much fun.  So this card is for a friend and now that she’s received it I can reveal it on my blog.  You’re probably wondering why I’d say ‘Bite Me’ on a card to a friend… well she’s been teasing me unmercifully about my Twilight Addiction and she also happens to be a Buffy fan, so I knew she’d appreciate the humour in my card.

The ribbon in the centre of the card (for those few people not into Twilight) is a play on the cover from Eclipse.  The quote “Bite Me” is from (the yet to be published book) Midnight Sun and was said by Edward (hot Vampire) to Emmett (his brother).  There’s also a ‘bite’ mark on the bottom left made by the Scallop Circle punch and to add more to the theme I lined the inside of the card with red cardstock so you can see the red peeking through the bite mark.

Hope this gave you a bit of a giggle… I know I was in fits making it. LOL
