Visitors in our pool

Well lookie see what I found in our pool yesterday! [photopress:blog_ducks_1_2_3_4_5_6_7_8_9_10_11.JPG,full,pp_empty]
Isn’t that just lovely?  I looked out our kitchen window and saw two ducks serenely swimming around our pool.  The kids couldn’t believe it, they were so surprised and excited.  According to our neighbour the ducks were in our pool all day, we had been out for the day so they were having a lovely time.  I’m assuming the ducks were seeking refuge from the nearby bushfire the other day.

    Very noice….. have fun cleaning green duck poo out from the pool and surrounds! LOL…seriously – they will poop everywhere….keep an eye on them…. but very nice for the kids!

    ROFL Tracey and Alisa – I thought that too! And to give you all a giggle, we just got back from the movies, we saw Ant Bully, and you know my skin cell phobia – eeeewwwww, they did a closeup of the icky guys scalp – eeeeewwwwwww.

    This reminds me of season 1 of the Sopranos (been watching it on DVD lately). There were ducks in their pool and the theme continued for a few episodes. How cool to have wildlife in your backyard like that! Shame about the bushfiees though :-(

    Soooo cute, but they can come with a catch. They have a tendency to set up home in swimming pools and may return in future years. Got to watch the ducklings can get out again too. We had to rescue a whole tribe of them once………..dad didn’t get we were trying to help. Had some great laughs as the hubby was being swooped by him….hehehe
