I don’t usually upload my scrapbooking on my blog, not sure why, maybe because photographing it is a bit of a pain but I’ll try to do some more.  For those of you who are cardmakers, maybe an element on the scrapbook page or even just the colour combination will be of inspiration to you.  So here’s a page with two of my favourite photos.

The layout was done using Stampin’ Up!’s Round Up Simply Scrappin’ Kit (hurry! only two more days to order this before it retires).  So I used the Sage Shadow textured cardstock for the base of my layout and I stamped the Sanded background stamp randomly over the cardstock using Sage Shadow ink to give it some extra interest.  The border at the bottom is from the Scrappin’ Kit, as are all the other embellishments except for the chipboard.  The chipboard is from “On Board Lots of Letters” and I’ve simply sponged the letters with some Really Rust ink.  The right hand side of the layout has paper piercing down it as I felt it was a bit empty and wanted to add something without adding ‘weight’.
